How to choose the right harness size

Using a soft measuring tape, measure snugly:

Your dog's chest at its widest point — just behind the front legs, around the ribcage, a little back from the armpit (about 2–4 finger-widths, depending on your dog's size).

Find the matching range in the size chart. Our sizes are designed to overlap slightly, so your dog will always fall clearly within a size. If your measurements land in an overlap, choose the size that leaves room to adjust in both directions.

The exception is puppies and adolescent dogs: for them, size up to allow the most room to grow.

Long and short back options

Some sizes also come in Long and Short versions, designed for dogs whose body shape doesn't match a standard build:

Long sizes have an extended back — this lets the harness sit further from the armpits without over-tightening the adjustments. If you have a Corgi, a Dachshund, or a long-bodied mix, choose the Long version.

Short sizes have a shortened back, made to fit compact, short-bodied breeds like Pugs and French Bulldogs.

Standard build? stick with the regular version — the neck and belly adjustments already move the harness comfortably clear of the armpits.
